Dr. Carlson's fees are very reasonable and very competitive. When you consider the excellent orthodontic treatment and the high level of personal service provided by his office, you will not find a better cost-value ratio.

Fees vary depending on the complexity of the problem and the time and type of appliances necessary for treatment. A total, overall fee is applied that includes all of the procedures to be accomplished by Dr. Carlson for orthodontic treatment.

There can be other fees in some treatments to be paid to other providers when the treatment involves a need for extraction of teeth, surgery, or periodontal treatment of the gingiva (gums).

Payment plans:
We offer several payment plans to fit your budget. Typically, the fee for a comprehensive treatment can be paid over a two-year period without interest. We also offer Orthodontist's Fee Plan, which allows fees to be paid over three or four years with no down payment, a straight, monthly payment, and low interest. Finally, we offer a cash discount for fees paid in advance.

Insurance:
Many of our patients are covered by dental insurance plans that provide orthodontic benefits. More plans are covering adults as well as dependent children.

We accept most plans which do not require you to see a specific orthodontist. Many different levels of coverage exist, usually on a "co-payment" basis, with the insurance company responsible for only a portion of the total fee.
