Since our office appointments for orthodontic treatment are arranged to allow a little extra time, Dr. Carlson and his staff can always take a slow, careful approach to each task.

For example, when a patient is starting "full braces," all of the appliances are not placed at one appointment. Part of the appliance is placed at one appointment, and the rest is placed at an appointment a week or so later. This assures that all bands and brackets are cemented to the teeth very accurately, it assures that the work is as easy as it can be for the patient during the appointment, and it assures that any discomfort realized by the patient after they leave the office will be as minimal as possible.

This manner of scheduling and treating patients is called "easy work" in our office. By focusing on excellent care and patient comfort during appointments, the orthodontic experience in our office is as comfortable as possible. In addition, the very accurate placement of the appliance results in a shorter treatment time.
